Medical

Preventative medicine:

  • We offer a vaccination service which will protect your pet against many diseases and allow them to live a longer, healthier life.
  • We also vaccinate for rabies under the pet passport scheme.
  • We offer a full range of preventive treatments for external and internal parasites.

Medical treatment:

We treat all domestic pets for all types of medical conditions neurology,cardiology,dermatology, respiratory, orthopaedic, reproductive, gastrointestinal or endocrine.

Surgical

Preventive surgery – we perform spaying neutering and lump removal 5 days per week with nurse supervised gas anaesthetic in our dedicated surgery

Surgical emergencies- we perform many emergency surgeries from cuts and lacerations to emergency c – sections.

We also perform a variety of specialized soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries

Dentistry

Dentistry is an area of veterinary care that is often overlooked. However, it is an extremely important part of good health care for your pet. We have specialised dental equipment on site including dental x-ray and perform everything from extractions to descaling and polishing.

Diagnostic Imaging

Xray – We have a digital x ray machine and can take extremely high quality x rays in the process of diagnosing certain conditions

Ultrasound – we have recently obtained a state of the art ultrasound scanner to further aid in diagnosis of both surgical and medical conditions

Laboratory

We have an in house well equipped laboratory that allows us to obtain results rapidly.

Haematology/ Biochemistry having both of these machines on site allows us to obtain same day results.

Urinalysis- We test urine samples in house for a variety of medical conditions

Culture – We culture samples from ears and skin for more appropriate antibiotic use which helps combat antibiotic resistance.

External Laboratory

We have close association with an external laboratory who offer a wide range of more specific tests should your pet require them along with evaluation of tissues by board certified pathologists.
